Most people who suffer from PTSD do so in silence. They often do not get help. And the isolation of COVID-19 has exasperated the tendency to self-isolate with months-long lockdowns. June is National PTSD Awareness Month.

PTSD treatments do work. And there are a variety of types out there. Talk therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure Therapies, Complimentary Alternative Medicine, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and more.
